Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Punter — the site, docs, SDK and markets. By using them, you agree to what follows. If you don't, don't use the service.

01 Eligibility

02 What Punter is

Punter is a non-custodial prediction-market protocol. It turns crypto rumours into binary YES/NO markets that settle on-chain against a decentralized oracle. It is software and infrastructure — not a broker, exchange, bank or fiduciary.

03 Risk

Trading prediction markets is risky. You can lose the full amount of any position. Only commit what you can afford to lose.

Outcomes are uncertain, markets can be volatile, and smart-contract software can contain bugs. You use Punter at your own risk.

04 Non-custodial

Punter never holds your funds. Positions settle to your own wallet through on-chain escrow. You are solely responsible for your keys — lost keys mean lost funds, and we cannot recover them.

05 No financial advice

Nothing on the site, in the docs or from the protocol is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Odds and market data are informational only. Do your own research.

06 Market resolution

Every market ships with fixed resolution terms set before the first position. Markets resolve to exactly one of YES or NO, or void if mis-specified. Disputes are handled by the oracle network against the written terms. Resolution is final once settled on-chain.

07 Prohibited use

08 $PUNTER token

$PUNTER is not live. Any references to the token describe planned future utility. Nothing here is an offer, solicitation or promise of a token, and no token should be expected until officially launched.

09 Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Punter and its contributors are not liable for any losses, including lost funds or profits, arising from your use of the protocol.

10 Changes & contact

We may update these terms as the protocol evolves; continued use means acceptance. The date above reflects the latest version.
